I started my teaching career at LCE in August of 2005 as a first-time teacher. I taught 1st grade for one year before moving to 3rd grade where I taught for eight years, then I taught second grade for 4 years. Now, I am the Kindergarten and 2nd grade Accelerated Math Instruction teacher.
I grew up here in the Little Cypress area. My parents ran an indoor rodeo arena called Tin Top Arena off of FM 1130 all of my life. It is gone now, but someone has built a new indoor rodeo arena in Orange and named it Tin Top 2 in honor of the legendary place my daddy built and ran for over 3 decades.
I am married to Michael Stelly who is West Orange Chief of Police and have one son named Peyton who is also a police officer.
My favorite thing to do is to travel. I use my summers to go see everything in this big world that I can! I also love to go saltwater fishing with my family.
