COOK SELECTED LADY BEARS AOW
Congratulations to senior Jacelyn Cook for being selected as the LCM Lady Bears Athlete of the Week. In her team's 17-0 win over Silsbee, Jacelyn went 3-for-3 at the plate, contributing 3 RBI's.

BEARS WIN 7TH IN A ROW
April 23 (Silsbee) – The Bears beat the Silsbee Tigers 8-2 Tuesday night. Marco Bandiero drove in four runs, going 3-for-4 with two doubles. Jacob Scheiderer was 3-for-5 with three RBI’s. Landon Richards struck out eight in the win. The Bears (8-3) have won seven straight and will host the Tigers (6-5) on Friday.
4X2 RELAY TEAM HEADED TO STATE
April 22 (Bullard) – The relay team of Chelsea Petree, Dinah Tippins, Carly Fisher, and Janet Le (above L-R) qualified for the 4A State Track & Field Meet. The girls punched their ticket to State by finishing 2nd in the 4x2 Relay at the Regional Meet Monday in Bullard (the girls also finished 9th in the 4X1 Relay). The Lady Bears finished 6th overall as a team. Results are as follows: Dinah Tippins (12th in the Long Jump and 3rd in the 200m Dash), Janet Le (5th in the Pole Vault), Allyson Welch (16th in the 3200m Run), and Paisley Angelle ( 3rd in the 100m Hurdles and 9th in the 300m Hurdles).

LADY BEARS ROLL TO WIN IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE
April 19 (Silsbee) – The Lady Bears rolled past the Silsbee Lady Tigers 17-0 in their final regular season game of the year. LCM got homeruns from Keylie Washburn, Lexi Moss, and Tessa Erickson (above L-R). Erickson got the win on the mound tossing a one-hit gem. The Lady Bears finish district play tied for second with Lumberton. LCM (23-6, 9-3) will play the Lady Raiders at Jasper on Monday (6pm start) to decide the second and third seed in the playoffs.
GRIZZAFFI WRAPS UP SEASON AT REGIONALS
April 18 (Huntsville) – Lady Bear golfer Cassie Grizzaffi wrapped up her season at the 4A Region 3 Golf Tournament held at the Bearkat Course this past week.
