I graduated from Port Neches Groves Highschool in 1994, and I attended Lamar University and Stephen F. Austin Universtiy.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I have an Early Childhood Certification. This allows me to teach Pre K-6th Grade.
This is my first year to teach at LCE, and I am very excited to be here.
I started teaching at Orangefield Elementary in 1999. I taught 1st grade there for 7 years. I then became a stay at home mom for about 8 years. During that time, I returned for 1 year to teach 5th grade at Buna Elementary. Next, I taught 1st grade at West Orange Stark Elementary for 3 years. I left there to come to LCE to teach 1st grade. This is my 12th year to teach and my 11th year to teach 1st grade.
I have been married for 14 years and we have three wonderful boys. They all attend the LCM school district.
I love the outdoors. I spend lots of time fishing and hunting with my family. My boys are involved with lots of extra curricular activities, so I spend most of my time attending their events. I also love to read when I have the time.
