I graduated 4th in my class from Vidor High School in 2012. I finished my Masters degree from Lamar University in 4 years in Business Experiental Entrepreneurship. I attended Texas Bible College and Lamar State College while earning my high school credits to graduate with 26 college credits. My devotion to education and my love for children drew me to be a teacher. Now I get to guide the learning of children every day and I love watching them grow.
I attended “Harry Wong’s First Days of School” workshop in August 2018.
A little about me. My parents met in the Marines and moved to Texas where they raised their 3 children, including me, the youngest in Vidor. I played the saxophone in the Band and sang in the Choir. I Co-teach a Sunday School class of excited group of 3 and 4 year old children every Sunday. My Mom grew up in Michigan so over the years we’ve been fortunate to take trips to play and sled in the snow.
When I’m not teaching, I’m cooking, sewing, reading, singing, or enjoying a good book curled up with my 3 Maltese fur babies, Molly, Myley, and Dill.
Hello! I am so excited for this school year! Some of my favorite things to do are: reading, cooking, traveling to different places, playing the violin and the piano, and singing. Also, I love to spend time with my family and friends and try new things! Last, but certainly not least, education is important to me! I look forward to molding and shaping young minds to achieve success and reach their dreams!
