Hi! I'm Mrs. McFarlane and I am so happy to be your child's LCE Pre-K teacher. I was born and raised in Orange, Texas. I attended St. Mary Catholic School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I attended LCM High School and graduated in 2004. After high school, I moved to College Station, Texas where I attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2008. WHOOP! In 2009, I married my high school sweetheart, Luke McFarlane. He is an Assistant Principal at Orangefield Elementary School. We have two beautiful boys named, Noah and Jonah. We also have a dog named Buster. I have been teaching at LCE for 14 years. I taught Kindergarten for 11 years and this will be my third year to teach Pre-K. Pre-K is special because it is a time for making memories while developing a love for learning. We are going to have a wonderful school year filled with many fun and exciting events. Please check the monthly newsletter in your child's notebook for the dates of these upcoming events. It’s going to be a great year!
