I graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in 1983.
I graduated from Lamar University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
I attended the ACE program at Lamar State College, where I received my teaching certificate in 2002.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, a teacher cerification, and a certification to teach the Gifted and Talented.
I have taught for 18 years at Little Cypress Elementary. During that time I have had the pleasure to teach 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Currently, I am the 3rd grade reading interventionist.
I am married to John Kimbrough and we have 2 boys, Ryan and Grant. Ryan graduated from the University of Texas and UTMB-Galveston. He is currently working as a Neurology doctor at Dell Medical Center in Austin, Texas. Grant graduated from Texas State and is employed by Comal CISD as an elementary physical education coach.
I love to read, garden, and spend time with my family.
